From Qualification to Launch: My Journey as an Independent Celebrant

This past week has been a whirlwind of excitement, emotion, and purpose. Just a few days ago, on Friday, 22nd of August, I officially became a qualified Independent Celebrant. The very next day, on Saturday, 23rd of August, I launched Tip Your Hat Celebrant Services.

It feels like the culmination of a long journey, yet I know it’s just the very first step.

Becoming a celebrant wasn't just about a qualification; it was a deeply personal choice. My mission is to help people mark life's most significant moments—from the joyful to the solemn—with grace, warmth, and dignity. I believe every story deserves to be told with care, every emotion deserves to be acknowledged, and every ceremony should be a true reflection of the people at its heart.

This past week has been all about putting that belief into practice. Building this website, creating my materials, and crafting the vision for Tip Your Hat has been an incredible experience.
