Spring brought incredible news to Tip Your Hat Ceremonies! I am thrilled to officially announce that I have been named a Finalist in the prestigious 2026 Small Business Awards (SBA). To be recognised on a national level among some of the country’s finest independent businesses is an immense honour. This milestone is a testament to the couples and families who trust me with their most sacred life moments, and it fuels my passion to keep pushing the boundaries of exceptional, bespoke celebrancy.

To truly capture the versatility of Tip Your Hat, we held a professional brand photoshoot in the heart of Yorkshire. This project was more than just images; it was about defining the visual language of our 'Three Hats'—The Top Hat, The Fedora, and The Flat Cap. Bringing together a network of talented local suppliers, we created a visual experience that reflects the distinct energy of every ceremony we lead. Whether it's a grand manor house or a rustic Wolds barn, our brand now mirrors the unique vibe of your chosen world.

Our first official wedding ceremony at The Grand Hotel, Scarborough, marked the true beginning of the Tip Your Hat journey. It was here, in the heart of this iconic venue, that our philosophy was born: the understanding that a ceremony is more than a script—it is a sacred space held for two people as they begin their lives together. This inaugural event set the standard for the personalized, heartfelt service we continue to provide to every family we work with today. It remains the foundation upon which all our future ceremonies are built.

On January 19th, we officially unveiled the "Three Hats" philosophy. We believe that your celebrant shouldn't just lead your ceremony; they should look and feel like they truly belong within your chosen world.

Whether your story unfolds in a grand manor house, a chic city hotel, or a rustic barn in the Wolds, we now offer three distinct "modes" to match your venue’s energy:

• The Top Hat: For theatrical elegance and grand traditions.

• The Fedora: For modern, chic, and effortlessly stylish celebrations.

• The Flat Cap: For authentic, warm, and rustic Yorkshire charm.

We have finalized the launch of our full suite of Custom Ceremony Rituals and the introduction of The Bespoke Song Story, ensuring every ceremony we create is a truly premium, unforgettable experience.

Following successful qualification in ceremonial storytelling and service, Tip Your Hat officially launched in August, 2025. Our mission from day one has been to create heartfelt, bespoke ceremonies for weddings, vow renewals, and naming celebrations, ensuring every word reflects the unique journey of our clients.
