I am absolutely thrilled to share some wonderful news: Tip Your Hat Ceremonies has been named Civil Celebrant of the Year 2026 (Yorkshire) at the UK Enterprise Awards!

To make this chapter even more magical, this regional win comes right alongside being named an Official SBA Finalist for 2026.

When I first stepped away from decades of high-level business management to embrace full-time celebrancy, I knew I didn't want to just read standard scripts from a folder. I wanted to create a service that blended flawless, meticulous behind-the-scenes organization with deep, authentic storytelling. I wanted to give couples and families a moment in time that was entirely theirs—whether that meant bringing a touch of theatrical elegance with my signature top hat, or penning bespoke, heirloom poetry that captures a legacy.

To go from completing my dual distinctions with the Academy of Professional Celebrants to being named the top Civil Celebrant in Yorkshire for 2026 is an honour I do not take lightly.

While a shiny trophy and a regional title are lovely milestones for the business, this award doesn't truly belong to me. It belongs to the brave, beautiful, and wonderful people who invite me into their lives.
